DEEP has revealed more details regarding its recently announced New Years Eve card at Saitama. DEEP Champions Yuki Motoya, Kazunori Yokota, Satoru Kitaoka, and Kazuhiro Nakamura will all participate.

The event will see twenty fights in all, starting at 3pm on December 31st, 2014. Along with the aforementioned DEEP champs, Yoshida Dojo’s Tatsunao Nagakura is also scheduled to compete. However, first he will face Mitsuhiro Okada in Osaka on October 19th.

There will also be a DEEP Jewels bout between yet to be announced female fighters. Foreign fighters will be invited to compete, as well as representatives from Shooto and Pancrase. The event will use the cage.

This is strange because I just saw a listing on either DEEP's or Kaz Nak's Facebook page that DEEP 70th Impact will be on the 21st of December.

What's going on here? As I believe DEEP wouldn't run two big shows within ten days of one another.

Apparently, they WILL have two shows in ten days.

From the looks of it, Nakamura will headline the show on the 21st.

So this "DREAM" event will be in a cage. When will this nightmare end?

Isao vs. Yokota is a rumored fight. That would be two straight FW fights for Isao if true so this may be a permanent move for him to 145.

DEEP FW Champ vs. Pancrase LW Champ. Should be a good one.

Great fight, although I'm a bit worried if it'll be enough to do successful at Saitama.

I think Yoshida has a great chance at coming out of this fight as champion.

DEEP has announced “5 x 5″ DEEP versus Pancrase bouts for Dream Impact on New Years Eve. It will be Champ versus Champ when Kazunori Yokota meets ISAO, and Takafumi Otsuka takes on Shintaro Ishiwatari.

Former DEEP Lightweight Champ and current Featherweight Champ Yokota will take on the young and impressive Pancrase Featherweight Champ ISAO in a legend versus prospect deal. Yokota stands at nine straight victories since his drop to featherweight. ISAO’s streak is equally impressive, with a string of ten wins interrupted only by a draw early last year. Yotaka and ISAO have contrasting approaches which makes this one of the most interesting matches in Japanese MMA this year.

In the Bantamweight division, DEEP Champ Otsuka will take on Pancrase King Ishiwatari. Grinder versus pressure slugger is the name of the game between these two, and most likely will see them trade places on the ground trying to punch one another out.

In the three remaining bouts, DEEP’s upstart “Monkey” Shibata will face Pancrase King Kiyotaka Shimizu, DEEP stalwart Yasuaki Kishimoto will face former Pancrase title challenger Yoshiaki Takahashi, and top-shelvers Toshiaki Kitada and Taichi Nakajima will meet.

Poor Takaya, I don't see this ending well for him.

Pretty cool they're getting the Jewels involved on the show, too.

This card is looking real good. If they can get Aoki too, it will be stacked up. Hope there is a way to watch this and IGF on NYE.
