I thought the word was Aoki is partaking in Inoki-bom-ba-ye? It does seem more likely with Aoki having a past relationship with IGF. He might be Esenbaev's opponent.

Haven't seen any mention of it on here but Akira Maeda is also putting together a NYE RINGS event at Differ Ariake.

Aoki/Esenbaev is the fight to make. Hope this is what happens. He was rumored to be on both shows but prefer the IGF fight especially against Esenbaev.

At second glance, this card looks fantastic honestly. Don't see it doing any more than 10 to 12k but the fights still look good.

Motoya is fighting Matt Manzanares and Tatsumitsu Wada is facing Ryuichi Miki.

Apparently, DEEP reads our rankings with these flyweight matches.

So DEEP, Pancrase, and ROAD FC on this. Plus, K-Taro....Pancrase vs. DEEP champ, and a number of other good fights. Great card.

Which card should I attend?

This one or IGF?

Serious question.

Please give me advice if you can.

I'm thinking of attending the IGF card.

Im thinking you'll get higer quality fights at the DEEP show but IGF will probably look better aesthetically and a more intimate environment, on top of that.

Bummer about Takaya. Wish they'd just replace him with Nagakura and get SHOJI on this card.

The IGF is also cheaper I think, if the $30 nosebleeds are still on sale.

I've been to the Kokugikan to watch sumo (I've been to both venues). The nosebleeds at the Kokugikan aren't that bad.

I don't like pro wrestling though. But hopefully there won't be too many fake fights.

I'm thinking of asking a girl out to some fights that night. $60 wouldn't break the bank.

I think that on IGF there are 4 fake and and 5 real fights but first 3 fights are fake so you could skip first part.

There's 8 shoot fights and the rest will be worked, I suppose. I know Barnett and Sawada are in the works.

I agree with wekka, the better card is DEEP but IGF has the ring, the Asian rules, the better production, and is cheaper. I would go to IGF.

i agree also my opinion if igf wants to run a full mma org in the future they going to have to change it a different name why well look igf is to stuck with the pro wrestling and shoot fights that's my opinion they should change it to a kick arse name i hope igf gets big they the only org left that uses the ring and asian rules pancrase has one the way of the unified rules and deep heading there to

Deep is also in a ring. I don't know the rules so well, but I was at Deep 69, and there were kicks to downed opponents as well as elbows. I don't know about the judging, but I had the sense the fights were judged as a whole. I was pretty satisfied with the format, overall.

The cheapest Deep tickets are $80, compared to the cheapest IGF tickets at $30.

Quite a difference.

I think the Deep card looks much better. But the IGF card probably would be worthwhile. It's the value pick.

Yeah, but they announced this event to be in a cage like there Cage Impact shows.
