Denis Stojnic did not sign contract with Bellator and Glory?

Post by Rizin=PRIDEFC on Tue Jan 06, 2015 4:35 pm

Denis Stojnic signed for Bellator! Bosnian-Herzegovinian fighter in the second best MMA organization in the world will do eight fights in a period of two years and one fight in Glory against Pat Barry.
"I signed with Bellator in eight matches in a period of two years," said Stojnić. "If I do good maybe they sell me to UFC."

The first fight in 2015 will be in Glory against Pat Barry.
"This will be the first time that I try to fight with K1 rules. Bellator has a very good cooperation with Golden Glory and they allowed me to do one match in Glory."

Stojnic pointed out that most of the credit for signing with Bellator has his trainer Martijn de Jong.

UPDATE
google translate

Following this information did not appear anywhere else in the media or on official website of Bellator or Glory(and Pat is fighting on Glory 20 but not against Stojnic), we contacted Bellator and Glory to check what is with his debut in Glory and Bellator, or who might be his opponents.

But we came across interesting answers from both prestigious promotions Glory and Bellator who stated clearly that they DID NOT sign with Stojnic, and from the conversations we get impression that they do not plan to sign him and when we asked them for Stojnić they where surprised that we ask them about Stojnic.

yes that is disturbing the other problem is that fans aka zuffa shills expect a guy/girl to go to the ufc . Even if another org offers a fighter a bigger wage that doesn't matter does it no go to the ufc i mean wwe 1.0 and make next to nothing while your president spends 50k at a black jack table THe fans will turn against you if you complained after all dana deserves that money he invented the sport of mma remember he is a god we must bow down and kiss his arse ? and as for stonjic come on mate if you want to go to the ufc that is fine but do it because you want to and not because they expect you do it .

I agree. Sadly, no company these days are willing to try and keep their fighters. I'm so sick of how it's always about the UFC. These fighters are drunk on UFC kool aid and would probably sign for free.
