Maxim Divnich (11-0) vs. Mansour Barnaoui (11-2) for LW championship belt is officially set for ‪‎M-1Challenge 57‬ on May 2 in Orenburg, Russia.

Divnich is current M-1 Global Lightweight champion. He is undefeated in his professional MMA career, leading 11 fights winning streak. Barnaoui is a current BAMMA and 100% Fight champion. He's going to add M-1 Global belt to his collection. Divnich vs. Barnaoui title fight will become a co-main event of M-1 Challenge 57.

Pound-for-pound, Divnich (11-0-0, 6 KO/TKO, 1 SUB) is one of the brightest prospects in M-1 Global, a devastating striker who possesses heavy hands. Unbeaten in five M-1 Global fights to date, Divnich resides in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he trains under Eduard Shirobokov at the famed Alexander Nevsky Club.

Last December at M-1 Challenge 54, Divnich captured the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title, stopping Dzhambulat Kurbanov (6-1-0) by way of punches in the third round of their Fight of the Night. Divnich is 5-0-0 in M-1 Challenge fights.

Mansour Barnaoui has been recognized as one of the top European lightweight prospects for the past two years, when he signed a promotional contract with M-1 Global. He is 1-1-0 in M-1 Challenge competition. After choking out Zulfikar Usmanov (4-1-0) in the third round of their August 21, 2013 fight at M-1 Challenge 41, Barnaoui received permission to fight in Europe, where he knocked out defending BAMMA lightweight champion Kurt Warburton (12-3-0), followed by a successful title defense against UFC veteran Colin Fletcher (9-3-0) by way of a choke hold in the opening round last December.

Maro Perak will fight Rashid Yusupov on this event.

This will be the debut of Maro Perak in M-1 Global lightheavyweight division. He had to think about coming to lightheavy after latest defeats to Denis Smoldarev and Marcin Tybura. His opponent, Rashid Yusupov has solid experience in amateur MMA, where he managed to become World- and Europe Champion 2013.

Belarusian Spec Ops vet to replace Maro Perak in fight with Rashid Yusupov at M-1 Challenge 57

After M-1 heavyweight Maro Perak had taken an inpredicted injury and was forced to withdraw from M-1 Challenge 57 on May 02, Dmitry Voitov (10-4), the surging Belarusian heavyweight and veteran of Special Operation Forces steps up to face Rashid Yusupov.

That sucks. Big hit to the card but Tybura is in the main event so it is still real solid.
