Suggestion for Bellator

Post by InfinityLens on Sat Apr 23, 2016 7:40 am

Not sure if this has been pointed out yet but taking out the cage and setting up the ring in the middle of a show must be quite a task. How about just using the ring for both MMA and Kickboxing and save yourselves some effort?

Because they are a cage org...never used a ring and shouldn't...

Almost all shows are in United states where ring is hard to get sanctioned.

It works out just fine tonights kickboxing was great.

You also have to consider the fighters. I bet most are used to fighting in a cage and likely don't want to have to switch to training and fighting in a ring just for one fight.

Hybrid events is the future so ring is more practical and of course much more classy. Cagefighting will go away sooner or later. There´s no problem of getting ring events sanctioned in the US but UFC, their clones and fans pretend it is. There´s nothing that says american mma must take place in a cage.

Affliction, PRIDE, IFL, M-1 among others used the ring in USA.
