Michael McDonald signs with Bellator

Post by Kingfedor on Fri Mar 24, 2017 1:34 pm

The signing comes one week after the 26-year-old McDonald parted ways with the UFC. HIs departure was unique in that he still had multiple fights on his deal, but both sides agreed to terminate the contract.

McDonald (17-4) told that he does not hold any ill will toward the UFC, whom he fought for since 2011 but had become frustrated over recent business negotiations

McDonald joins a Bellator bantamweight division that features current titleholder Eduardo Dantas (19-4), Joe Warren (14-6) and Darrion Caldwell (10-1).

Wait for the zombies to come out of the woodwork and either say he was never that good anyway or he got knocked out by Lineker.

They pretty much are with Lorenz they're using the' "couldn't get a title shot in the ufc is getting one in the " B" leagues " .which they have also said about Phil Davis , last time I looked there is a difference between not getting a title shot and fighting for the belt and not winning in other words just because a person didn't have or get the Chance to fight for the belt doesn't mean they couldn't of won it .

The mental gymnastics these morons put themselves through. Nice to see the fault is on the fighters for not getting title shots despite going on a win streak. Let's face it, they know deep down that The UFC is slipping and it's no longer the be all end all anymore.

They have been like this forever hell they can't even name all the "fixed" fights in pride. Oh one    Coleman and takada oh and Gary Goodridge if they actually bothered to read what he wrote he said the fixes where primarily between the camps he never said anything about krs which own pride at the time .

Then onto strike force which they have said for years was a b level organization whose fighters couldn't compete with the "god like" fighters in the ufc until they went over  and won the belts and are the top contenders I forgot they "automatically got better when they signed that ufc contract

The wec it had the best fighters under 155 for year's yet as soon as the ufc absorbed them they are acting like the wec didn't count same as they did when they had women's mma that's ufc in a nut shell some one Else comes up with the idea they take it then convince gullible people it was somehow their idea.

With bellator becoming a major rival not to mention sakkikabarra bringing JMMA back to the fore front and the organization that are part of the federation which includes Rizin and bellator  the dark age of the ufc rule will crash down  .The ufc fans might criticize bellator and Rizin for having past their prime fighters or unknown prospect but they have to remember these unknown are the stars of tomorrow  When the ufc stars retire and they have no one what will they do then ?

PS I know it is a long rant

Those were definitely some of the main things that always aggravated me about UFC and zombies.

And it's because of this why the UFC is in severe decline. While they have established some stars in recent years like Jon Jones, the company has relied mostly on buying out competition and taking advantage of their hard work. If you look at a lot of the UFC's stars over the past decade, it was mostly guys they got from the PRIDE purchase or the WFA purchase or the WEC purchase or the Strikeforce purchase. The UFC hasn't made much of their stars but rather let other companies do it and then take them or buy the company out altogether. The problem is that they haven't bought out any companies recently which has led to Bellator and ONE to grow while Rizin has begun and since the UFC has relied on buying out the competition for their stars, they're screwed because they haven't been able to do it in six years. On top of that, this has led to an open market and were no longer seeing fighter foolishly sign any UFC contract offered to them likely without even reading it first aside from the parts about money. Now, were seeing fighters test the waters and more times then not are usually preferring Bellator or ONE or Rizin when they do.

As far as fight fixing goes, it's laughable because there's been proof of fight fixing in the UFC back in the 90s as well as Pancrase. PRIDE was hardly the only one and it was blown out of proportion. If PRIDE fights were fixed then how come more people didn't come out? Fighters always come up with excuses for losing so how come no one ever said when they lost in PRIDE it was due to fight fixing and they let the opponent beat them?

The whole thing is ridiculous. What the fuck does UFC do that magically transforms B-Level fighters into elite fighters? Do they sign a contract and giving powers? I wonder if these zombies also realize that they almost come off like they're implying the UFC for giving steroids to it's talent because how else do you go from B to A level?
