RICARDO ARONA VS SOKOUDJOU 2 IN THE WORKS FOR ROAD FC 11...

ROAD FC has contacted Ricardo Arona and his management to work out a deal which would have Arona rematching Sokoudjou at ROAD FC 11. Sokoudjou, who is confirmed for the ROAD FC 11 card on 2013.04.13 does not yet have an official opponent. Although, ROAD FC officials have admitted talks are in the preliminary stages, they also stressed that the rematch is a definite possibility.
The first fight between Ricardo Arona and Sokoudjou at PRIDE 34 was one of the most shocking upsets in MMA history as Sokoudjou, a heavy underdog, managed to knock out the Brazilian superstar.

I agree. I'll believe it when I see an official statement from Arona's camp. Until then, it's pie in the sky.

Let's wait to hear something official.
Honestly Road FC is below Arona. He needs to get to a big promotion and get bigger dollars. He's not going to make himself a credible top-level LHW by fighting is weaker promotions. Bellator would be better because they could woo him with good money and exposure for his comeback. M-1 or even KSW would also be better.
TBH - straight to the UFC like Mark Hunt is the best scenario. Give him competition like hunt got to start with and then he can work himself into a title shot. As I've said before, stylistically, skill-wise, the cage, and the unified rules are perfect for Arona. Coincidentally that's also a perfect equation to solve the JJ problem.
The only thing stopping Arona from being motivated to make a comeback is the UFC's incompetence in signing too many top-tier guys over the years. They disrespect guys like Sergie, Arona, Khalidov, Barnett, etc... by low-balling them and discounting their draw, skill, experience, and accomplishments. It's really sad and f***ing the fans who don't know their being f***ed.

I wouldn't say Road FC is below Arona at all, at this point in time.
Any kind if competition is beneficial to him since he's been away for so long.

When I say this I mean it: Arona is the most athletic human I have ever seen compete in MMA. The guy is an absolute fucking monster. 4 years ago he would have been UFC champ, no doubt in my mind. He has never truly lost a fight, in ADCC or MMA, as well.

At this point in his career Arona wouldn't beat Jones. Really, he's been gone from the sport for far too long and he should've stayed retired.
