Joachim "Hellboy" Hansen will compete at Road FC 11

Road FC has announced that former DREAM lightweight champion grand prix winner and former Shooto / Pride FC force Joachim Hansen will compete at Road FC 11.

Hansen, a staple in Japan for many years, will compete in the featherweight division. His opponent is to be named.

Road FC 11 will play host to a slew of foreign fighters, including: Ikuhisa Minowa, Jeff Monson, Vuyisile Colossa, Melvin Manhoef, Shungo Oyama, Shoko Sato, Roan Carneiro, and Kume Takasuke.

Manhoef was rumored to have been close to a UFC deal recently, but nothing was ever confirmed. Manhoef provides the excitement UFC executives have sought as of late, however, the wins don’t seem to be coming with that exciting style.

RoadFC is really making waves. Some guys like Sokoudjou and Oyama aren't spectacular, but they're still pretty good pick-ups for the top promotion in Korea.

Nice Hansen is gonna crush whoever ROAD FC tosses at him. Great to see him back in MMA.

You guys were saying Hansen was done and that he was fucked in that S-cup but he held his own and proved he's certainly not finished with combat yet.
